MGW makes some good stuff. I never went down the short shifter route but I drove one with an MGW and it felt good. Took a little more effort, but the distance was nice.

Nope. Feels fine without it, I actually followed the directions and used the provided centering tool. That along with installing the lower box, I think helped a lot.

You can fix the effort part, but that requires getting under the car, so it’s not worth it. That being said, they’ve updated the lower box, so it’s not much more effort than stock.

I put a Porsche Short Shifter in my Cayman, also sw apped out the stock cables t o Numeric Racing. World of difference.

They were fresh last year. The 8 year old tires was the first time I went with it, the week after I got it.
